Asking what is and what is not noise, asking about the stories a sound can convey about a place, asking about whether it is desirable to preserve this intangible heritage, or asking about how the soundscape of a place changes with the passage of time and with human activity, the artist posits a process of listening, recording and creative development, emphasising the modes of perception, detail, in the everyday and in everything which might usually go unnoticed. What surprises are revealed by the sounds which remain 'hidden'?
